Hey there

This is a piece that appears on the cover of the new Dungeons and Dragons game manual called “Magic Item Compendium,” and will also appear in a forthcoming book from ILEX Press called “Fantasy Art Now.” Not sure when that one is coming out.

Here’s a drawing from probably about ten years ago, when I was working at Black and Vernooy Architects in Austin, Texas. The original is a giant pencil on vellum drawing, 24″ x 48″ (?) - can’t remember for sure.
