January 29th, 2009

From the space opera project that I’ve had on the back and middle burners for a while now; this scene was constructed using some SketchUp, some photocollage, and some regular 2D photoshoppery.

fanfriggintastic! I’ve missed seeing your environment work and that it’s from the space opera project is a double bonus.

Matthew – thanks! There will be more at some point.

Dan – glad you dig it. I’m using a lot of the space opera material in this forthcoming sci fi art book.

    Lorin – As do I!

This is amazing. Do you paint the textures on the 3D renders or apply them as texture in Google Sketchup?
