Todd “The Todd” Almeida was a captain in the Planetary Federation’s “Flying Tigers,” a highly decorated pilot and officer who was dishonorably discharged after striking a superior officer. Now he works as a mercenary and independent contractor, although his loyalties continue to lie with the Planetary Federation.

Adiuvo9 is an experimental robot created by Adam Fentonov, one of the Planetary Federation’s leading roboticists. Fentonov is best known as the chief designer of the Mark IV Integrated Trooper Technology, the armored red “evil minion” shown a few posts below. Shortly after creating the Integrated Trooper line for the Galactic Imperium, Fentonov defected to the newly formed Planetary Federation.

Here’s another character study for the space opera thing. I imagine this person to be a feisty fighter pilot, sort of a cross between Wilma Deering from Buck Rogers, Starbuck from the new Battlestar Galactica show, and Princess Leia from Star Wars.

Here’s another quick character study. More like a character type rather than a specific character. I was interested in doing a Flash Gordon kinda guy, except not so blatantly Caucasian. Nothing wrong with Caucasians, some of my best friends are Caucasian! Anyway I imagine there will be a lot more iteration on the main guy.

On another note, today I left my long time day job as principal concept artist at High Moon Studios to pursue freelance work full time! So, if you are a game company in need of some concept art assistance, please look me up.
